Mike Ronan, President of CFM has over thirty years experience as a school administrator. Mike is the founder of Lighthouse Academies Inc.  a national non profit CMO and Charter Facilities Management LLC.   Mike previously served as the CEO of Beacon Education Management and Chief Operating Officer of SchoolWorks LLC.  Mike has been involved in the operations of over 100 charter schools during the last 15 years.

   
 

Joel Scharfer, Vice President of Finance of CFM, has over 30 years of management and executive experience in corporate finance, real estate development and real estate finance. Since 2000 Joel has worked exclusively in the area of charter school facility development and financing with over 60 charter schools. Joel also has specialized experience in all forms of charter school financing structures, including tax-exempt bonds, New Markets Tax Credits, third party credit enhancement and owner financing. 

   
 

Mrs. Cheryl Melendy is the Director of Operations for CFM. Mrs. Melendy worked at Lighthouse Academies, Inc. for eight years as the Director of Operations and supported the national office as well as their network of schools working with the office managers, managing the logistics for the network professional development summit and assisting the CEO. Previously, she ran multiple offices with approximately twelve associates reporting to her. Mrs. Melendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Assumption College.

 

   
  Ms. Rebecca Rudder is the Director of Procurment and Contracted Services for CFM. Rebecca has ten years experience working in the building and operations for school systems. She graduated in 2010 with a BA in Organization Management from Ashford University.
   
 

John McMichel is the Director of Facilities for the Indianapolis Region. Mr. McMichel has thirty years work experience within a Building Operations setting. Mr. McMichel completed a Asbestos Training Course.

 

   
 

Ed Power is the Director of Facilities for Northwest Indiana Region. Mr. Power has worked in Facilities Management for the past 8 years. He previously had over 30 years of experience working as a Licensed Electrician and as an Industrial Electrical Manager. During his career Ed has completed/attended Dale Carnegie Leadership and Management, Electronics D.C. Crane Control, OSHA Gas training rescue and compliance classes, human resources training, fire control and prevention training, and numerous safety seminars.

   
 

Jackie McIntosh is the Staff Accountant for CFM. She has worked in financial operations for the past 10 years. Ms. McIntosh received an AS in Accounting from Hesser College in Manchester, NH, and a BS in Biochemistry from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland.
