Ms. Elizabeth Holland is the Chief Executive Officer of Abbell Credit Corporation, a sixty-year old private real estate investment, development and management company with an approximately 2 million/sf portfolio, comprised of shopping center, office, and enclosed mall properties. She is responsible for overseeing all business and legal matters, including development, financing, leasing, capital improvements, and investor and tenant relations. Ms. Holland is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and as Central Division Vice President. Other Board memberships include Vice Chair Development Partners of Uptown United; Business and Professional People for the Public Interest (BPI); and 1,000 Friends of Iowa. Ms. Holland holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Hamilton College.

Rebecca Maltzman is the Managing Director of Academics at Scholar Academies where she oversees curriculum, assessments, instructional coaching and professional development for a network of traditional and turnaround charter schools in Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC and Trenton, NJ. Rebecca began her career teaching 2nd grade in Camden, New Jersey as a Teach For America corps member. She has also worked for Teach For America, the District of Columbia Public Schools and South Jersey Legal Services. She received a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was a Toll Public Interest Scholar, and a Bachelors of Science, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University. She was also a Zuckerman Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, from which she holds a Master’s in Education Policy and Management. |

Mr. Edward Mahaney-Walter is an associate at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York. Previously, he served as a manager and investment Manager at Mooring Financial Corporation, an investment company in Vienna, VA, and an associate at Morgan Stanley. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an AB from Brown University.

Dr. Robinette Breedlove received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Education degree at the University of Arkansas. She began her career in a rural Arkansas town as a Kindergarten teacher. She has experience in rural, suburban and urban schools. Her teaching experience reaches across many states including Pennsylvania, Arkansas, North Carolina, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Dr. Breedlove was the founding principal of the Arts and Technology Academy. She finished her Doctorate in Education in May of 2005. Dr. Breedlove served her country in the Persian Gulf during the Gulf War in 1990-1991. She is also a mother of two sons. Dr. Breedlove believes that it truly “takes a village to raise a child”. This belief is at the heart of everything we do at Meridian Public Charter School.

Mr. Michael B. Ronan Founder, President and Chairman of the Board, is the President and CEO of Lighthouse Academies, Inc. Mr. Ronan has provided management and consulting services to charter schools and school districts nationwide since 1997. Mr. Ronan began his career as a middle school history teacher and later served as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction and School Superintendent. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and holds advanced degrees in school administration. |
