About CFM

Charter Facilities Management LLC (CFM) is a national non profit founded in 2006 by its current President, Michael Ronan with the support of the Walton Family Foundation. CFM has developed new school sites in Gary, IN; East Chicago, IN; Indianapolis, IN, that now house 2,700 students. CFM also provides property management services to client schools as well as other operational services including transportation and food service. CFM seeks to provide comprehensive facility development and operations management so that the school staff can focus on what they do best – educate their students

Our mission is to develop and maintain high quality school facilities in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Vision

By demonstrating an effective use of public funds, CFM will fundamentally change the way that school buildings are constructed and maintained in low-income communities. This, in turn, will increase the amount of resources available to support teaching and learning.
